Select the Pure EV drive mode for electric-only driving and extend your range. Select the Preserve EV drive mode if you wish to save plug-in power for a later time. No charge available? No problem. Preserve EV drive mode will use the engine to charge the battery and gain up to 75% of the total charge available.

You will need a grounded and dedicated 15- or 20-amp AC breaker serving a grounded three prong outlet for proper charging.
